Southland Donates To Infinity Park Effort
Southland International Group, Inc., holding company of Southland Deck & Supply Co., recently provided a donation of labor to the playground building project for Pines Montessori School, located in Kingwood, Texas. As planned, Infinity Park was opened the evening of Sunday, Oct. 23rd to a throng of waiting, excited children. It was the culmination of an amazing week of hard work that brought together nearly 500 volunteers from around the Kingwood community to build a science playground. Southland International Group, Inc. was pleased to assist Pines Montessori School and plans to continue aiding and contributing to community efforts in the Greater Houston Area.

SIGI Incorporation and Acquisition
On July 19th, 2005 Mike Luksza founded and incorporated Southland International Group, Inc. Mike then acquired the assets of Southland Fence & Supply Company on the 27th, and became the main partner in this well established company. Eventually Southland Fence & Supply Company as well as Southland Deck & Supply Co. will be embedded in the SIGI holding organization.

SIGI Inaugural Party Postponed In Wake of Hurricane Katrina Disaster
Group donates $5000 to Relief Effort
Houstonians reached out to the victims of Hurricane Katrina in many innovative ways. In the spirit of this humanitarian outpouring, Southland International Group observed the disaster through postponing its inaugural celebration planned for October. In the Name of Southland International Group and its Divisions, Mike Luksza, CEO of Southland International Group, presented $5,000 to the Red Cross’s Hurricane Katrina Fund in lieu of the fete, formerly slated for October 22nd. The monies were originally planned to fund the party celebrating the new corporation, which purchased Southland Fence & Supply Co. on July 27, 2005.
